Lake Eola Fountain Display

Hubby and I went to Lake Eola on the Fourth of July to watch the Fireworks. I was actually eager to go because I want to witness the highlight of the event which is the spectacular 15-minutes fireworks after the fountain display. The Lake Eola Fountain was recently renovated and on this FREEDOM day, the fountain will be turned on for the first time showing the water, light and sound display. The fountain display was spectacular and it sway with the sounds. It was a dancing fountain so to speak. Right after the fountain display, fireworks followed! If only I have a DSLR camera, my shots could have been beautiful at night. But, I am only using my blackberry phone and the distance of the fountain is a little bit far. So, the result of these pictures were all I got.
We arrived at 7PM and the park was already jam packed with people. They say, there were 80,000 people who witness the event and I guess, it probably true.
This Lake Eola Area is a circular shape and the whole place was full! Across that lake, it was jam packed of families too! There was a live concert at the theater stage and the music was echoed in the entire park. Some people enjoyed the event and I also saw people who are restless and tired of waiting. There's nothing to do but, wait for the time to start.
This is just one of the condominium in downtown Orlando which has a good view of Lake Eola. There were people on the terrace celebrating the 4th of July and they have a good place to watch the fireworks.
The spectacular show started with a countdown at 9:29 PM and lasted up to 10PM. It was fun and I would definitely comeback next year!
