Today, we went to Aunt Jenny's Restaurant to celebrate the birthday of my sister-in-law. Hubby and I went to this place about 4 years ago and we thought the food was not that great. Today made no difference. Still, we enjoyed the gathering because we wanted to be around on her birthday. After dinner, we went to the pier by the Harbor in Ocean Springs at the Front Beach and just hang out by the pier. Check out the view that I took. More to publish soon ... so, I will see you around right?

Shrimp Boats by the Gulf
When I got out from work at 7AM, I was dead tired so; hubby and I would go to Hard Rock for breakfast, it's halfway between my workplace and home. My father-in-law at that time was still asleep. Hard Rock has a Satisfaction Buffet serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. The buffet truly satisfies my growling appetite and it's only $7 per person. On Wednesday's and Friday's, it was 50% off. Basically, if we dine on those days, $7 covers for both of us. Great deal right? The photo below was taken at the garage of Hard Rock in Biloxi Mississippi, viewing the awesome Gulf, shrimp boats and deer island. The shrimp boats were owned by the local fishermen and a number owned by Vietnamese. A pound of large shrimp was only $2. We sometimes drop by at early morning to buy a couple of lbs.

Living in Coastal Areas
It is beautiful to live nearby the waters because of the endless opportunity of watching an awesome view. This is a boat ramp along Indian River at US 1 in Port Saint John. US 1 is the fantastic scenic route for travelers and the amazing view such as this picture is so surreal! We moved here in Cocoa just two months ago and we love this place. This particular location is just 4 minutes' drive from our home. People come here to go fishing and enjoy boating.
This place is a good location to watch the rocket lift off at Cape Canaveral Air Force Base which is across the Indian River. This boat ramp is also a nice area to watch the beautiful sunrise in fact, I posted some of the pictures in this blog. You will be amazed! Anyway, my husband and I were here on this particular day to watch the Atlas V Rocket lift off!

Shrimp Boats
When I crave for shrimps, craw fish and blue crab, I immediately remember this place near Hard Rock in Biloxi, Mississippi. The back area is a wharf where the shrimp boats dock. Hubby and I would really love to buy large shrimps for less than $3/lb. Here in Orlando, my gosh it's $9.95/lb so; my mind goes back to this place which a sumptuous feast of seafood is so accessible.
Did you know that while the fishermen are shrimping, the birds are on their tail trying to steal some of the meat? Well, it's intimidating for the fishermen but, it's interesting to see really.

Shrimp Boats in Front Beach
While we were routing the bridge connecting Ocean Springs and Biloxi, Mississippi, there were more than 20 Shrimp Boats lined up going to somewhere. Of course, we had nobody to ask on the whereabouts of their destination. I just grab my phone and took this picture because it reminded me of the picture of Magellan's Fleet. There are two things that these boats were sailing: (1) shrimping and (2) work for BP.
As of today, our shoreline here in Biloxi and Ocean Springs is FREE from Oil Spill caused by the oil rig disaster of Deepwater Horizon last April 20, 2010. I pray that BP can successfully cap the oil spill source before any hurricane strike. If that will happen, it will be an unimaginable catastrophe.

Hearty Shrimp Meal
Since I went home with no Air Supply ticket on hand, I just direct my attention to food. My husband do all the cooking and I requested for shrimp and Mc&Cheese. I had a hearty lunch but, my disappointments still very much over powering me right now. Well, I still have so many concerts to choose from of which I love. That will be my new activity and yes, without my husband. LOL!
