Amazing Race: Unfinished Business Winner

The Amazing Race 18 is also known as The Amazing Race: Unfinished Business. It is the eighteenth installment of the reality television show The Amazing Race. It features eleven teams of two and each returning from a previous edition, in a race around the world for 1 million dollar prize.

For the second time in the history of Amazing race, two women as a team made it to the TOP! Lakisha and Jennifer finish FIRST for this Unfinished Business Episode. The first time they join the Amazing Race, they were eliminated after stopping to use the restroom in China. This time, they are the WINNER! They traveled 40K miles and 23 cities around the World. This episode started on Sunday, February 20, 2011. It aired on CBS channel every Sunday nights at 8:00 p.m. but, the finale was aired two-hours on May 8, 2011. The show is hosted by Phil Keoghan. I like them as a winner! Congratulations! Woot Woot!

Pia Toscano: Voted Out

Top 9- Pia Toscano is voted out and only 8 American Idol Finalists left vying for the American Idol 2011. I was looking at the judges when Ryan announced the result. From their reactions, I can tell how disappointed they were. This contest is all about popularity. There is no denying that Stefano got so many fans who shows their undying support for him. Too bad that Pia is the bottom favorite of the voters.

Based on Performance, Stefano should be voted out but, fans love him too much. The judges are biased! If it would have been him, they will be smiling! The voters have the power over the judges now. The underdog is Estefano and I bet, his fans will grow more. But then again, I maybe right or wrong!

Kirstie Alley in Dancing with the Stars

Do you watch Dancing with the Stars? I hope you did not blink! Have you seen what happened to Kirstie Alley and Maksim Chmerkovskiy during their performance? Well, a slight disaster that took few seconds but, the whole performance I think turned out fantastic and one of the bests for that episode.

People should learn to appreciate Kirstie's talent and respect her for who she is. Sometimes, people can be so mean to her especially when they talk about her weight. Bullies are everywhere and they masks themselves with perfection! Yet, we all know that bullies are attention-seekers and for them to be recognized, they will find imperfections with others. Kirstie's approach was ignore them which was a very wise decision. Her positive attitude will always make her a winner in life! Keep Smilin Kirstie! Punish your detractors with envy!

"Major Major" Talk of the Pageant

Miss Universe 2010 - I must admit that I was one of the hopefuls who watched the Pageant with so much excitement. Hubby and I were having a vacation here in Port Canaveral near the Kennedy Space Center and late evening is TV time. Since it was shown live in an evening show, we just watched it. Actually, we just focus watching the pageant when Miss Philippines was named as one of the TOP 15 finalists.

I was so proud especially when she was named as one of the TOP 10 finalists. Honestly, it was my first time to see her on TV. I do not have a subscription of any Filipino Channel so, I am not updated with Philippine news. She was pretty and the body was truly WOW!

Seeing her on TV and named as one of the Top 5 Finalists in the Prestigious Search for Miss Universe 2010 was totally great! My fellow "Kababayan" did so well on stage! She made it to top 5 from 83 women!

Then, came the unforgettable Q and A portion. She was the last finalist that was called and she drawn the name of the handsome William Baldwin. After she gave the answer, I convinced myself that she will make it to top 3. I know, I made a fool out-of-myself thinking she will. SIGH! Yeah! She blew her chance to be the next Miss Universe. BUT....

Should we blame her for what had happen? She was over-confident, some say! For me, maybe she was star-struck with the judge! Her answer was trending in Facebook and Twitter! I read all the nasty and harsh criticism, even below the belt!

Maybe, we Filipinos expect too much of her. That was her BEST and she was happy with Top5. We believe that she can do better than what she had shown to the world. She MIGHT BE but, what she did is good enough FOR HER and that was HER MAJOR contribution to the country.

What have we done to our country? Filipinos should move on! Just make a deepest SIGH and move on! (SIGH) and yeah ... don't frown .... just LAUGH out loud and move on! LOL!

MP3 Music

One of the activities that I love to do during my day off is listening to the music. This is the only pleasure that speaks to my soul and inspires me to have a positive outlook for life. I listen to a particular type of music that are rich in melody and the lyrics are in good substance. If I do not use my iPod, I use my computer and start browsing my music files. I am the kind of person who sing-along to my music too. During my lunch break at work, I use my cell phone because it is so handy. My cell phone is Wi-Fi enabled so; I can have access to Music Search. I can listen to all my favorite music and favorite singers. For me, if there's music, life is colorful and boring world does not exist in my vocabulary. Sometimes, I use the title of the song or the name of the artist in searching of my favorite MP3 music online. As long as you know the name of the artist and the title of the song, there is always a way to find it. How about you? How do you locate your favorite MP3 music using the internet?

I am a very romantic person and I listen to the music of Barry Manilow and fell in love with the kind of songs Jim Brickman play on the piano. When I am at work, I listen to the Pandora using my Blackberry phone.
