My New Friend

Thanks for the post from Al Mills:

Since my husband is in the Army, we move a lot. Because of this it has been really hard for me to make and keep friends. I’ve tried to get involved in different social activities in each place we have lived, but I just haven’t had the good luck of finding friends I really click with. We just moved again, and I am so happy, because I think I finally found a friend I can depend on. She has been so helpful with the move, and I am so appreciative. She showed me around the area and has recommended some great shops and restaurants. She also helped me find some awesome Direct tv deals when I was setting up all of our utilities at home. It’s nice to finally feel like I’ve made a friend I can lean on and that I’m not completely alone. I know my husband will be relieved that I will have someone to depend on besides him for social interaction too. I hope neither she or I has to move again any time soon.

Really Lonely

Author: Joseph Sandoval

When I moved here I was really lonely at first. I spent so much time working and when I wasn’t I was too tired to get out and make friends, much less go on any dates. I had a good time watching my directv missouri at first but even that got old after a while – there aren’t any real people coming through my TV screen! The best thing I did after a few months of being bored here was sign up for an adult kickball league – I’ve met SO many people through this sport! It’s actually so much fun…we go out on the field, drink “sports drinks” all night and get to just play around. There’s nothing like a no pressure situation to help your guard get lower and for me it was all a matter of feeling comfortable in my own skin. Moving here was the most independent thing I’ve ever done and it’s been hard being away from my family – no more safety net for me! Life is tough enough without going through it alone.

Moving Home

Author: Dorsey Velasquez

For the past five years my sister and her husband have lived overseas with their children. My brother-in-law is in the military and has been stationed in Asia. I was talking to my sister on the phone last night and she gave me great news—they are moving back to the United States after Christmas! I am so excited to have them closer and be able to see all of them more than once a year when they come home to visit. Of course our conversation turned to all of the things they will have to do to prepare for the move. It’s been so long since I have moved I had forgotten everything that goes into relocating. Power, gas, water, internet, phone, television -- it’s especially hard with the time difference to make phone calls to speak with service reps. Fortunately they have internet access at their home so she can do a lot of the research online. We spent half an hour brainstorming websites she should visit. Unfortunately I forgot to suggest she check out www.tvbydirect.com ! Oh well, I guess it’s a great excuse to call her again tonight!

Watching the NFL Games

When you just moving in to a new home, the need to set up or activate all the utilities necessary for your home is important. Utilities such as home security rogers, water and sewer, electric, TV and Internet connections too for family entertainment. Even if your community is safe, the need to have an ADT security system is important. Besides, it is very affordable and your family will be protected and secured 24/7.The Football Season is here and just like everyone, I am also excited! My husband and I watched the Pre-Season games especially if it is the schedule of our favorite teams. We are all set for the 2011 NFL Games complete with Jersey shirts and popcorn. How about you? Of course, we already subscribe to sports channel and watching NFL Live is not a problem to us! Did you know that when you have a Direct TV you can watch HBO, Starz, Cinemax and even watching NFL games are all FREE when you activate the Choice Extra Package? You will never miss the NFL Sunday Ticket and it is guaranteed when you have a Direct TV satellite connection. Call 1-800-360-1793 for more information on Direct TV packages which are available for you in your area.

Home Security

For peace of mind, our home is equipped with home security. We live in a very nice neighborhood but, securing our place is a priority for prevention purposes. Besides, having a home security suncity would definitely give a family full security especially at night time. When burglars see the sign, they will not even dare to go near it.When we moved in to our new home, we tried to activate our Direct TV. The customer service set an appointment and when they came, they encountered a huge problem. There is no signal in our location and we are so broken hearted. The field employee tried everything but, there's just nothing! So, if you are moving to a new place, make sure that it has all the access for your entertainment pleasures.

Perfect Movies and Sitcoms on Satellite TV

Guest post written by my buddy Franklin Davenport

My favourite television sitcom of all time has to be Friends. This sitcom is a perfect family adventure with well acted scenarios from a cast of excellent actors and actresses. Courtney Cox who plays Monica is fantastic as a neat freak who has to have everything perfect within the home. She will freak out if a cup has been placed on the table without a coaster to protect the table. My brother who is only fourteen years old loves her like crazy and is similar to her in the way that he likes his bedroom perfectly clean with everything neatly in place.

In one episode she books a future wedding between herself and Chandler Bing who is another main character in the sitcom inside a museums' main hall. Ch! andler had not even proposed to her yet and when the curator rang to say that the Monica and Chandler wedding could go ahead he lost the plot and ran from the room. To watch the show is hilarious and the whole of my family except grandad watch the show. We watch it as often as possible on satellite tv from cannonsatellite.com as it has always been the best way to watch movies as well as sitcoms. I am sure that if we watch it anymore that we should be entitled to free trip to the studios to watch it being made.

Geico Commercials are the Best

Authored by Raymond Whitney:

My favorite commercial, of all time, is the Geico - but only when the Geico is actually present and talking. His body moves around so smoothly and perfectly that it is difficult to believe that the words are not actually coming from him. Now, I generally do not fall for a number of commericals I see on television but I actually did change my car insurance to Geico. As a result I ended up saving a couple of hundred dollars a year.

All of the Geico commercials I have seen on TV have been excellent. They are always tasteful and well done. My children enjoy them - but not quite as much as I do. It is always exciting to be watching my satellite TV ever since I signed up for a direct tv promotions a saw online and see the little green Geico pop on the screen.

Anyone who has not seen the latest Geico commerical is in for a real treat. The little guy is at some type of business meeting. Next you see him standing on top of a podium talking to the group of gathered business executives. However, the man actually giving the presentation, while talking to the Geico, has some type of major problem and he is stopped in his tracks.
