NASA's Kennedy Space Center : Ticket Area

Pretty soon, we will be leaving Florida and move back to the Gulf Coast. Our property was already sold and we are just waiting for the closing schedule. The buyer was so happy to know that the #KennedySpaceCenter is just 15 minutes away from the house. I told them to purchase the annual pass so that they can come here anytime they want.

This is the express ticket area where guests will be able purchase tickets with just a push of the button. The prices are displayed with complete information on what's included in the ticket. A team member is also assigned in the area to assists the guests who are buying the tickets.

Other guests prefer to purchase their ticket in the adjacent ticket area. The queue is not bad at all and it's moving fast. There was an event inside and look at the crowd in here, not bad at all compared to Disney World huh?

If you are wondering about the ticket prices, here it is. Ours is the annual pass and we can visit the Kennedy Space Center anytime and any day for the whole year. This price is really affordable don't you think?

I saw a lot of Filipinos buying tickets too because Port Canaveral Cruise Terminal is just 16 minutes away from here. If you have been cruising, you already know that a great number of Filipinos work on cruise ship industry. If the Port of call is Port Canaveral, cruise ship workers take their free time right here than in Disney World which is an hour drive from the port. The #KSC is an easy place to check out on their free time..

Most of the guests came from Orlando and other places in the country. They were on Disney buses and chartered buses and the #KSC has enough parking space to accommodate all these buses.

The photo below is the new entrance to the KSC's Visitor Complex and I like this entrance better than the old one. It looks spacious, grand and the contemporary design is gorgeous.

See the orange sticking up behind the building? That's where the incredible and breathtaking Atlantis attraction is located. It's newly constructed and it is my most favorite attraction in KSC. Space Shuttle Atlantis attraction has more than 60 interactive exhibits with high tech simulators. Awesome right?

Anyway, check out this beautiful view from the entrance. The American flag is swaying gallantly.

Here are some of the chartered buses and motorhomes parked at KSC parking lot.

KSC has a huge parking lot and each area has the name of the astronauts. When you come and visit KSC, you should remember the name of the Astronauts where you park your car. It will be terrible if you forget this simple detail. You will have a hard time locating your car if that happens.

Remember the number and the name of the Astronaut just like the photo below. Now, Malcolm Scott Carpenter is an astronaut. He was the second American to orbit the earth and the fourth American in Space. He was selected for NASA's Project Mercury. He died last year in October 10, 2013 at the age of 88.

If you are forgetful in remembering names and details, take a picture of where you park your car. Believe me, it will save you time and energy because I saw people who forgot this stuff. They were excited to see the attraction so; when they comeback, they were lost in the middle of thousand of cars LOL. It could ruin your happy day and that's not an ideal to end a vacation right?

That's all for now and thanks for visiting my blog. Now you know that the price is affordable, visit KSC for this spring vacation. Bye and comeback next time.

On Our Roadtrip: Beautiful Mountain

When I did my home renovation back home, I hired a dozen of carpenters and masons. It was only a 90-day project so, they have to finish it with in the allotted time frame. They came from a mountainous region so; when they arrived in my town, all they have in mind was going to the beach. On their free day, they went swimming to the beach and they were so excited like a child when parents announced for a Disney Trip. Oh yes, they were!

Little did I know that when hubby and I traveled from Florida to Missouri, seeing the mountains and driving the gorges along the interstate was more exciting than I thought. I was thinking, wow - such a pleasant sight! Living in the coastal is beautiful but, seeing the mountains was spectacular specially when we don't travel this far and not in the direction towards the Midwest.

Beautiful isn't it? We made a stopover in Tennessee and what a gorgeous place. I love seeing the mountains. Maybe in the next year or two, I told hubby that we should visit Chattanooga.

I was wondering where these trucks are heading and they are too many. Traveling from Florida to Missouri was one of the best road trips that we have. Honestly, we booked a flight to Kansas but, we canceled it. We decided to have a road trip instead. The weather in October was beautiful and we were happy with the decision that we made.
I took the photo above at early morning, outside the hotel where we stayed for the night. I was wondering what's it like on a snowy days here.

It was a foggy morning and it's about 7AM and we were ready to hit the road after breakfast. What a gorgeous day it was! This is the front of the hotel and yes, the hotel was built on a hill. The view is so surreal and I could live here you know. A very peaceful and beautiful place.

At Universal CityWalk in Hollywood

For travel post this week, I am sharing the photographs from Universal Studios in Hollywood. After working for 10 months, I went for a 10-day vacation in California. I visited a friend and it was a blast mostly on church activities and road trip to San Francisco. On this particular day, we decided to check out Universal CityWalk.

It was chilly at night time and we had dinner at Tony Roma's Ribs-Seafood and Steak restaurant.

There was a live band after 6 and I noticed, night time is more crowded. There are many places to check out for dining here. More than 30 places to eat and six nightclubs. This place also has 19 screen theaters with state of-the-art IMAX.  There are also more than 30 unique shops for your shopping needs.

I forgot how much we paid for parking but, we did find a good spot.

I love this place and I would definitely comeback someday.

This is the favorite of kids ... and kids-at-heart hehehe.

The Tony Roma's Restaurant is on the left side of this photo with red signage.

We had a great time taking pictures and we stayed here for awhile. It was a gorgeous day. A bit chilly but, I love it.

There's so much to see here and I thought, we did explore the shops good. After dinner, can you believe that we still have the energy to check out the Hollywood Walk of Fame and Santa Monica Boulevard? Oh yeah, and it was really chilly. We did not stay longer and we head home.

My 10 days vacation seemed one month. The days were dragging as if the time was frozen but, on my advantage.

When I return to California in the near future, I will visit CityWalk again. hopefully with my mom, brother and his family. I hope that day will come. Thanks for stopping by. Enjoy your Tuesday.

Search for Online Travel Deals

The economy is bad yet, some families were able to set aside a budget for a fun family vacation. Here in Florida, the slow season is not really the typical "slow" that we have in mind. In fact; when I visited Disney World on weekdays last week, thousands of tourists flocked the theme parks. The influx of tourists usually happens during summer vacation where children have few days off from school. On weekends, there are more fun activities intended for children and young at hearts too. Going to places have always been an exciting activity for the whole family so; it is always included in the list of priorities for the whole year. There are great deals online so; when you book early for your travels, you can truly find a good deal.

travelpackingtips.co

If you have airline points, you can use it for travel deals. That's what we do and believe me, it is awesomely affordable. For $500, my husband and I were able to have a Bahamas Cruising for 4 days. Great online deal right?

Let's Travel Morocco in Epcot

Oh the joys of seeing new places and learning the ways of life of other cultures has always been exciting and awe-inspiring. Yet, not all of us have the pleasure of traveling to places for some obvious reasons. The deterrent is Time and Economic reason so; to alleviate that, Epcot extravagantly showcased 11 countries in their park so; their guests can enjoy exploring these places. Isn't it exciting? The best place to travel 11 countries in one day is thru Disney World's Epcot themed park.

"I can show you the world
Shining, shimmering, splendid
Tell me, princess, now when did
You last let your heart decide?

I can open your eyes
Take you wonder by wonder
Over, sideways and under
On a magic carpet ride

A whole new world
A new fantastic point of view
No one to tell us no or where to go
Or say we're only dreaming"

Most children and kid-at-heart know Aladdin and Jasmine. I bet you already humming that song lyrics above which is good for you still remember it. If you and your children wanted to see Aladdin and Jasmine, visit Morocco in Epcot and see the schedule of their photo and autograph signing.

Last Thursday, hubby and I decided to visit Disney World because our pass will be over the next day. We thought of using it in Epcot to see the #FoodandWineFestival and we did! We went in at 3PM and right away look for food and wine to taste.

Visiting Epcot's World Showcase is fun but, if you hate walking, you should plan ahead which country to check out for that day. As for us, we selected at least 5 , dine in France and check out the rides in Future World and off we go home.

The photo above is a restaurant in Morocco area. If you wanted to try the cuisine famous in Morocco, you should visit this area. In Morocco, you will find Restaurant Marrakesh and Tangierine Cafe'.

Morocco is a diverse country, and rich in culture and civilization. This country has been influenced by Phoenicians, Carthaginians, Jews, Arabs, Sub-Saharan Africans, Romans, Vandals, Andalusians, Moors and Jews, and they all play vital on the social structure of Morocco in line with their beliefs. Check out the style of the building, Jewish and Arabic cultural heritage is pretty obvious.

Here I am checking their Brass Bazaar and Casablanca carpets. If you have children who loves crafts and painting, check out inside. I am sure they will find it interesting and fun.

This is the front of Morocco area.

Hubby and I enjoyed our visit in Epcot that day. Oh, we were able to watch a concert by Air Supply and it was such an amazing experience.
