Un-break my Heart

When you are young, you easily fall for someone and mistakenly thought the attraction as love. Have you ever shed tears for someone? Oh! I shed rivers in fact! He bid good-bye and left for the US to continue his studies and never heard of him since. I thought that was the end of my world but, lo and behold! I can't feel the pain or was there any pain at all? I have friends who are in the "young generation" category LOL! Every time they asked for an advice, I keep telling them if it is not meant to be, it never will be. Bless the heart of the young for they will mature early!

Un-break my heart
Say you'll love me again
Undo this hurt you caused
When you walked out the door
And walked outta my life
Un-cry these tears
I cried so many nights
Un-break my heart
My heart

The lyrics above was taken from Tony Braxton's song titled Un-break My Heart. I still have so many tasks to write but, sometimes I got lazy. If I am not in the mood to write, I need to find an inspiration. So, I click my favorite Online Karaoke ex-designz.net and I sang my heart out! No practice for theree years (uhm) so, imagine how agonizing it must be for my husband who had to endure the melody that waves across the living room!LOL!

XU Glee Club Batch 90's

The best days of my life as a student was when I joined Xavier University College Glee Club. Our conductor/trainor/musical director/mentor was the late Professor Lino Y. Abrio. I was accepted and become a member since 1989 up to 1995.

When I auditioned and was accepted, it made my life exciting and fun. I love to sing and being in the choir. Music is an inspiration and as a Glee Club member, singing gave me the power to dream. These pictures was taken when we went to Ateneo de Davao University to do a concert. I can't remember how many days we were in Davao but, all I remebered was the happy moments. We have fun as we chartered two buses to Davao.
I am proud to say that all of us in these pictures graduated a Bachelors Degree and landed a stable job.
Thanks to LongLong and Father Cuna for their precious time and financial support to XU College Glee Club.

I missed the song, the music, the faces, the friendship, the laughters and the performance.

Thank You Lord

This is my favorite religious song and I want to share with you the meaningful lyrics of Thank You Lord. This picture was taken after a storm an hour ago. No traces of dark clouds and bad weather only the fascinating blue skies.

Thank you, Lord,
for the trials that come my way.
In that way I can grow each day
as I let you lead,
And thank you, Lord,
for the patience those trials bring.
In that process of growing,
I can learn to care.

But it goes against the way
I am to put my human nature down
and let the Spirit take control of all I do.

'Cause when those trials come,
my human nature shouts the thing to do;
and God's soft prompting
can be easily ignored.

I thank you, Lord,
with each trial I feel inside,
that you're there to help,
lead and guide me away from wrong.
'Cause you promised, Lord,
that with every testing,
that your way of escaping is easier to bear.

But it goes against the way
I am to put my human nature down
and let the Spirit take control of all I do.

'Cause when those trials come,
my human nature shouts the thing to do;
and God's soft prompting
can be easily ignored.

I thank you, Lord,
for the victory that growing brings.
In surrender of everything
life is so worth while.
And I thank you, Lord,
that when everything's put in place,
out in front I can see your face,
and it's there you belong.

We Are the Reason - Christian Song

Lately I have been listening to religious songs in youtube. With all the chaos in the world, crisis in economy, and the arguments in politics, I can listen to this song and close my eyes in peace. I hope all of us will come to a point to assess our individual's strength----> WE ARE CAPABLE OF LOVING. Let us strive to be good each day and make this world a place to live in HARMONY and RESPECT. Hoping you will enjoy listening and learn something from with in our soul.

MP3 Music

One of the activities that I love to do during my day off is listening to the music. This is the only pleasure that speaks to my soul and inspires me to have a positive outlook for life. I listen to a particular type of music that are rich in melody and the lyrics are in good substance. If I do not use my iPod, I use my computer and start browsing my music files. I am the kind of person who sing-along to my music too. During my lunch break at work, I use my cell phone because it is so handy. My cell phone is Wi-Fi enabled so; I can have access to Music Search. I can listen to all my favorite music and favorite singers. For me, if there's music, life is colorful and boring world does not exist in my vocabulary. Sometimes, I use the title of the song or the name of the artist in searching of my favorite MP3 music online. As long as you know the name of the artist and the title of the song, there is always a way to find it. How about you? How do you locate your favorite MP3 music using the internet?

Somewhere Down the Road

I am a very romantic person and I listen to the music of Barry Manilow and fell in love with the kind of songs Jim Brickman play on the piano. When I am at work, I listen to the Pandora using my Blackberry phone. When I took my lunch, I always tune in to the channels of my favorite musician and here is one song of Barry Manilow that I always love to listen over and over again. Here it is and enjoy listening.

We had the right love
At the wrong time
Guess I always knew inside
I wouldn't have you for a long time

Those dreams of yours
Are shining on distant shores
And if they're calling you away
I have no right to make you stay

But somewhere down the road
Our roads are gonna cross again
It doesn't really matter when
But somewhere down the road
I know that heart of yours
Will come to see
That you belong with me

Sometimes good-byes are not forever
It doesn't matter if you're gone
I still believe in us together
I understand more than you think I can
You have to go out on your own
So you can find your way back home

And somewhere down the road
Our roads are gonna cross again
It doesn't really matter when
But somewhere down the road
I know that heart of yours
Will come to see
That you belong with me
Letting go is just another way to say
I'll always love you so

We had the right love
At the wrong time
Maybe we've only just begun
Maybe the best is yet to come
'Cause

Somewhere down the road
Our roads are gonna cross again
It doesn't really matter when
But somewhere down the road
I know that heart of yours
Will come to see
That you belong
With me
