We are supposed to go to the beach today to watch the activities but, the heat was a scorcher. It's about 91 degrees and it feels like 96, whewww. We chose to stay home and watch TV. This is the last week of summer holiday so; people are really out to the beach.
The waves are big so; a lot of surfers are showing their abilities to play in it. I just can't wait for this scorching heat to be over with. I can smell the eggnog already hehehe. I am looking forward for Christmas holidays. Yip, can't wait! The picture above was taken at Miami Beach. Gorgeous huh?

On Miami Beach
This is Miami Beach and I would say, the water is really beautiful. I like it when the crowd is not overwhelming. This beach is one of the most crowded beaches in the States. Tourists flocked Miami Beach because of the clear blue water and the white sandy beaches.
This is a typical Friday afternoon. There are people but, not crowded which is really nice to hang out. The weather is tolerable since it was almost sundown.

Bayfront Park at Biscayne Blvd in Miami Florida
I took this picture from our room at the 24th Floor of Intercontinental Hotel in Miami last July. I had an appointment at German Consulate and this hotel is just walking distance so; we decided to stay here for a night. I like the view of the streets and the tall buildings. This hotel is located next to Bayfront Park. Just walking distance is the Bayside Market which is tourist favorite as well as the hang out of locals. If you love food, music, entertainment from a live band and shopping then, this area is a good place to check out.
The picture below is a beautiful fountain at Bayfront Park. If you are here, you will enjoy the amazing view of the Bay.
This is a play sculpture in the park intended for children. It is located next to the playground and Pavillion and all of these amazing features in the park were donated by Lee and Tina Hills.
The play sculpture shows huge waves with manatee, dolphin and a turtle which are typical in the waters of Miami.
If you visit Miami and have kids, check out this park. The playground has bouncers, slides, pirate ship, and more. Your child will surely like to play in this park.

Beautiful Beaches in Miami
If you are the type of person who loves the outdoor and enjoys the beach; who likes to blend in with the crowd; who loves to party; enjoys a buzzing city life then, you will appreciate Miami Beach. This place is a coastal resort city and the beaches are really beautiful and you can actually tell by looking at the pictures below that this place is indeed gorgeous!
Miami Beach has residential areas with their own private docks. You've seen some mansions featured in TV right? Well, these mansions are located in Hibiscus Island, Palm Island, Star Island, Venetian Islands and more. These places are gated communities and if you use your google map, you will see these beautiful places.
On this day, there were few people on this particular beach. Some areas are jam packed with tourists. If you want to see people in their bikinis, visit Miami and you will enjoy the sight.
Such a gorgeous day huh?

Miami Port: Admiring the Beautiful View
I just want to share this beautiful picture that I took last month while I was on board of Norwegian Sky. This spectacular view is the heart of Miami. The city is beautiful but, like any other places, it is not perfect. If you hate the traffic, this is not your place.
While waiting for our ship to depart Miami, some cruise ships sailed away ahead of us. The Port of Miami is known as the number one container Port in Florida. Right here, the modern cruising was born. The drawing board here is 50 feet deep dredge.
The Port of Miami is the World headquarters for Royal Caribbean International. Right here, tropical cruising exist all year round.
The home to most of world's reknowned cruise line such as Carnival Cruise Line, Norwegian Cruise Line, Royal Caribbean and more.
I was just thankful for the blessings of seeing all these beautiful scenery. How I wish that I could bring my family and friends to experience these things with me (sighs). I need to win the lotto LOL.
You should try the Norwegian Cruise Line and drive down to Miami Port. The road trip is fun. have a good day everyone.

At The Miami Port
Miami Florida is a nice place but, since hubby and I does not like traffic, this place is not our favorite. We only come here for a short vacation and usually we stay away from the city. Anyway, last Monday we traveled from Orlando to Miami Port to board for our cruising trip to Bahamas. It took us 4 hours on the road and one time we missed our turn but, we arrived safely and on time. When we boarded the ship, time went fast!
Since the room was not ready yet, we wander on the amenities of the ship. Then, when we were tired,we stayed on this area for so long to appreciate the view of the Miami Port.
My husband and I were talking about this beautiful sight. We love watching CSI Miami TV show and this view was featured a lot when crimes happen on the port.
It was drizzling on and off but, all the guests were on the top deck watching the view of Miami City.
When we arrived the Miami Port, there were so many cruise ships ready to sail away. Miami Port is one of the biggest cruise ships capital of the world. There were different cruise ship at this time such as NCL, Carnival and Royal Caribbean.
Our first plan was to rent a car from a rental company. But, all cars were rented out on this date so; we decided to drive our car and leave it in a private parking lot. It was not a nice parking lot but, it was near the port. It took us about 5 minutes on a free transport from the parking lot to the Miami Port.
