At Universal CityWalk in Hollywood

For travel post this week, I am sharing the photographs from Universal Studios in Hollywood. After working for 10 months, I went for a 10-day vacation in California. I visited a friend and it was a blast mostly on church activities and road trip to San Francisco. On this particular day, we decided to check out Universal CityWalk.

It was chilly at night time and we had dinner at Tony Roma's Ribs-Seafood and Steak restaurant.

There was a live band after 6 and I noticed, night time is more crowded. There are many places to check out for dining here. More than 30 places to eat and six nightclubs. This place also has 19 screen theaters with state of-the-art IMAX.  There are also more than 30 unique shops for your shopping needs.

I forgot how much we paid for parking but, we did find a good spot.

I love this place and I would definitely comeback someday.

This is the favorite of kids ... and kids-at-heart hehehe.

The Tony Roma's Restaurant is on the left side of this photo with red signage.

We had a great time taking pictures and we stayed here for awhile. It was a gorgeous day. A bit chilly but, I love it.

There's so much to see here and I thought, we did explore the shops good. After dinner, can you believe that we still have the energy to check out the Hollywood Walk of Fame and Santa Monica Boulevard? Oh yeah, and it was really chilly. We did not stay longer and we head home.

My 10 days vacation seemed one month. The days were dragging as if the time was frozen but, on my advantage.

When I return to California in the near future, I will visit CityWalk again. hopefully with my mom, brother and his family. I hope that day will come. Thanks for stopping by. Enjoy your Tuesday.

Disney World Grand Vacation

I live less than 30 minutes away from Disney World and since I am a Floridian, I am entitled to a discount to any attractions in Disney. Aside from this great opportunity, I have friends who can give me free passes for all the parks in Disney World. I have been to Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studio many times but, I will keep coming back if I can find time. I just enjoyed all their attractions especially the musical stage show. Wennie the Pooh is one of my favorite characters and I bought some good stuff with it for my niece back home. My grand vacation will never complete if I can't visit the Tree of Life. I love this attraction because it house the Bugs Life where Flick, the ant lives. I love their stage show!

The picture above is Rafiki from the Lion King movie. I love animated movies of Disney. In fact, I have a collection of princesses maniatures and other cute characters. I usually buy key chains too everytime I visit Disney because it gives me a sense of pride by looking at my simple collections. To know more about Disney and all it's attractions, just visit ShopWiki because it provides links to any relevant topic. They cover the most comprehensive information that you can ever get.

Visit to Universal City Walk - CA

I filed five days paid time off from my workplace plus, I took the days in between my day offs. So, I had 10 days vacation in Los Angeles and I had a grand time seeing my friend and meeting all her friends too.

On this day, we went to Universal Studio and these photos were taken at the entrance. I posted all the pictures in my other social media account and if you are my friend, you can view it there. Anyway, visiting L.A. is just like visiting Philippines. Why would I say this? My friend showed me a place called "Manila Way", guess that was the name of that place, LOL!

I had a wonderful time visiting Universal CityWalk in Hollywood because of the retail district. Shopping is my thing so, I love this place. They have a Guess store and their products are made in Italy, at least. Anyway, I was able to buy sun glassess which are made in the US and I was happy about that.

We dine in at TONY ROMA'S restaurant that evening and the price were alright. It was a bit chilly at this time so, we ordered coffee at Starbucks and my two friends were craving for Cinnabon. I wasn't because it was too sweet. And oh, they got it for free because Cinnabon is giving nurses FREE of their products on that week. Good Job Cinnabon!

This is Saddle Ranch Chop House and I like their building design. I bet their food is good but, my friends decided to go to Tony Roma's casual dining which is famous for ribs! If you want to visit City Walk, come early to enjoy the place. Have a good time!
