Blooms Inside the Tinker Bell's Butterfly Garden

Our visit to EPCOT in Disney World was just done in few hours. We wanted to stick to the plan: take three rides, stay in Future World and take photos in few areas there and the entrance. I tell you what, we were roaming about 30% in Future World areas. Yes, there is so much to see around but, since we have a pass holder, we are not in a hurry. We can comeback anytime. I already posted few photos of the topiary display in EPCOT as well as the fairy houses display. I still have more photo's to share though and for now, these are the flowers found in Tinker Bell's Butterfly garden.
This is one of my favorites. The blooms just explode.
I am not sure if this belongs to sunflower family.
Here's another color.
I like this too, it's like a scepter.
This is pretty too in fact, I got this one in my garden one time.
Here is Tinker Bell standing at the side exit/entrance of the garden.
This flower is my most favorite.
Very Pretty
This flower is nice too.
I think this flower is called Everlasting.
This is another color of everlasting flower.

That's all for now. What do you think?

#ButterflyTopiary : International Flower and Garden Festival in EPCOT

My husband and I were at EPCOT in #DisneyWorld last Thursday to see the #InternationalFlowerandGardenFestival which is presented by #HGTV. My goodness, fun is in bloom indeed. We love taking the monorail because it is really cool to see part of EPCOT up above the monorail tracks. The first blooms that I saw was the garden near the Tinker Bell's Butterfly Garden. It was so colorful and the Disney Character topiaries are gigantic so it was beautiful and visible up above.

We decided to stay in Future World and take 3 rides. I already reserved my fast pass online but, since hubby can't get his fast pass, we took the standby. We won't be long anyway coz we get tired from walking around so; I  told hubby that we will stay in Future World and take the photos of Topiaries and the garden display at the entrance. We will be back next time before the festival ends.

As we were walking towards the Tinker Bells's Butterfly Garden, this giant Butterfly Topiary caught my eyes. Such a gorgeous display don't you think? There are over a 100 topiary displays in Epcot. Some topiaries are favorite Disney Characters and some are seasonal topiaries so; every year is truly different. We did not go to World Showcase.

It is spring break so; it is super crowded in Disney World.  All the rides have 30 to 80 minutes stand by , crazy right? If you plan to visit Disney World, get your ticket ahead of time and reserve your fast pass online or on your cellphone.  You save time and your energy will not be wasted with the queue. With our case, it is alright because we have a yearly pass and we can visit anytime on weekdays and in any parks. We can take the standby of 30 max. When we went to Soarin' Attraction, the wait time is 80 minutes LOL. We did not go. We took the Land instead and it was pretty interesting.

The Amazing topiary displays are in the World Showcase area. I will take photos of the topiaries in that area on our next visit. I really wanted to go there alone though LOL. My husband hates to walk from pavilion to pavilion. Goodness! LOL!

Yep, for now , I am sharing this butterfly display.  I took more photos inside the Tinker Bell's butterfly garden. If you love flowers, I use the zoom feature of my camera phone and take photos to some blooms and the flowers are all pretty.

I hope you enjoyed viewing the butterfly display. Do you think you can you make this art work in your garden? Thanks for stopping by. Come back tomorrow for another exciting and interesting photos. have a great day!

Let's Travel Morocco in Epcot

Oh the joys of seeing new places and learning the ways of life of other cultures has always been exciting and awe-inspiring. Yet, not all of us have the pleasure of traveling to places for some obvious reasons. The deterrent is Time and Economic reason so; to alleviate that, Epcot extravagantly showcased 11 countries in their park so; their guests can enjoy exploring these places. Isn't it exciting? The best place to travel 11 countries in one day is thru Disney World's Epcot themed park.

"I can show you the world
Shining, shimmering, splendid
Tell me, princess, now when did
You last let your heart decide?

I can open your eyes
Take you wonder by wonder
Over, sideways and under
On a magic carpet ride

A whole new world
A new fantastic point of view
No one to tell us no or where to go
Or say we're only dreaming"

Most children and kid-at-heart know Aladdin and Jasmine. I bet you already humming that song lyrics above which is good for you still remember it. If you and your children wanted to see Aladdin and Jasmine, visit Morocco in Epcot and see the schedule of their photo and autograph signing.

Last Thursday, hubby and I decided to visit Disney World because our pass will be over the next day. We thought of using it in Epcot to see the #FoodandWineFestival and we did! We went in at 3PM and right away look for food and wine to taste.

Visiting Epcot's World Showcase is fun but, if you hate walking, you should plan ahead which country to check out for that day. As for us, we selected at least 5 , dine in France and check out the rides in Future World and off we go home.

The photo above is a restaurant in Morocco area. If you wanted to try the cuisine famous in Morocco, you should visit this area. In Morocco, you will find Restaurant Marrakesh and Tangierine Cafe'.

Morocco is a diverse country, and rich in culture and civilization. This country has been influenced by Phoenicians, Carthaginians, Jews, Arabs, Sub-Saharan Africans, Romans, Vandals, Andalusians, Moors and Jews, and they all play vital on the social structure of Morocco in line with their beliefs. Check out the style of the building, Jewish and Arabic cultural heritage is pretty obvious.

Here I am checking their Brass Bazaar and Casablanca carpets. If you have children who loves crafts and painting, check out inside. I am sure they will find it interesting and fun.

This is the front of Morocco area.

Hubby and I enjoyed our visit in Epcot that day. Oh, we were able to watch a concert by Air Supply and it was such an amazing experience.

Future World Attraction at Epcot

When I was in the Philippines, I have no knowledge about EPCOT Theme Park in Disney World. In high school, my friends and I would dream about Magic Kingdom and see the castle of Cinderella. Oh, we love talking about Disney and loves watching it's animated movies! I have been to all the theme parks of Disney World namely: Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom and EPCOT.Did you know that EPCOT is twice the size of Magic Kingdom? It occupies 300 acres of land for Future World and World Showcase. The picture above is in the Future World and the guests are in queue to enter the Spaceship Earth. This is one of my favorite rides in EPCOT. It is 16-minute slow-moving omnimover ride which transports the guest to 40,000 years back. From the dawn of recorded time to modern day. It is just amazing to see a prehistoric man, ancient Egypt, the Roman Empire, the printing of the newspaper, the discovery of electricity, generation of apple products showing the garage of Steve Jobs and more. The ride ends as the guests create their own future world.

Mission Space at Epcot

The thrill of rides, I need to check it out first. I am not the kind of person who loves fast moving rides but, I can assure you, I survived the Test Track and loving it LOL. I also survived the Splash Mountain, those 3 dips and 5-story waterfall drop ... yikes , I tried it and I won't do it again, ... I think LOL. This one, the Mission Space at Epcot ... I don't know yet.

There are to journey here.  The first journey to Mars begins at Planetary Plaza where guests will see/read the inspirational quotes from pioneers of space travel. Then, off to the Simulation Lab, a 35-foot-tall gravity wheel is there.  A genuine NASA Lunar Roving Vehicle (LRV), one of only 4 in existence is there too and on display. They borrowed it from from the Smithsonian.

There is a Command Room and further, the guests can browse astronaut memorabilia and plaques commemorating notable firsts in space exploration. This is all about the first man in space, the first man on the moon and the first family in space which, my knowledge for these are all buried in my hypothalamus, LOL.

Then, off to the Mission: SPACE Advanced Training Lab. I have to be brave myself and see what's in there and beyond.

Electric Umbrella Restaurant at Disney World's Epcot

Hubby and I were at Future World enjoying our favorite rides. We took Soarin, Test Trak, Spaceship Earth then, we got hungry, LOL. We grab some foods at Electric Umbrella Restaurant. The food is typical American and this place is ideal for a quick bite of burgers and fries. Their food is very affordable and my favorite place is at the second floor. It is less "traffic" LOL. This place gets really crowded at mealtime. Their food is satisfying and delicious! If you want fine dining, check out Tutto Italia at Italy Pavilion. Make a reservation ahead of time.

Monorail to Epcot

My husband and I usually do not go to Disney in summer time. It is super crowded and besides, the summer heat is a scorcher. Here are the popular parks in Disney World and their famous landmarks: Magic Kingdom (Cinderella's Castle), Animal Kingdom (Tree of Life) , Hollywood Studious and Epcot (Spaceship Earth). The last park that we visited last month was Epcot. We usually park our car at Magic Kingdom parking lot then, ride the monorail to Epcot. It will take few minutes to arrive Epcot. This park is all about human achievements such as international culture and technological innovation. Epcot is one of the most visited theme parks in the US. Epcot is an acronym for Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow. It has two sections: the Future World and World Showcase. The attractions that I love in Epcot are the following: Test Track, Soarin, and Spaceship Earth. If you visit Disney World, do not forget Epcot so you will have the fun exploring the World Showcase.
