PNP RELEASES LIST OF PROHIBITED FIRECRACKERS

The Philippine National Police (PNP) recently published a complete list of prohibited firecrackers in the country on thier Facebook Page.

These includes the following:

  • Piccolo
  • Watusi
  • Giant Whistle Bomb
  • Giant Bawang
  • Large Judas Belt
  • Super Lolo
  • Lolo Thunder
  • Atomic Bomb
  • Atomic Bomb Triangulo
  • Pillbox
  • Boga
  • Kwiton
  • Goodbye Earth
  • Goodbye Bading
  • Hello Columbia
  • Goodbye Philippines
Individuals caught making, selling, distributing or using such banned firecrackers may be fined between P20,000 and P30,000 and/or face up to 1 year's imprisonment.

In view of this year's traditional holiday season, the Philippine National Police is maintaining the gains from a 4-year downward trend in Fireworks-related incidents.
