Positive Thoughts : Positive Results

I took this photo in our backyard one morning while I was having my coffee. It was such a gorgeous day, full of colors. Using my iPad, I took  a snap, really pretty right? Anyway, before I doze off to bed, I would like to share this photo and this thought :
"Once you replace negative thoughts
with positive ones,
you'll start having positive results."

Have a great day ahead. Hubby and I will be heading to Disney World's Epcot tomorrow to check on the Food and Wine Festival.I will be sharing photos here of course. Thanks for always stopping by. God bless you.

Impressive Canvas Print by Canvas Press

I love taking photographs and that is the reason Beyond Photography blog exists. I see beauty all around me and it is awe-inspiring to snap God's precious creation everyday. Even the tiniest bug I saw in the backyard or the caption of sunrise by the beach, my camera is always ready to snap a photo any time. Of all the photos I have, I like the photograph below which was taken in Alabama during a wedding event and I have been planning to order a canvas print for a long time. It was made possible when CanvasPress.com said yes to my product review request.

On Canvas Press Website:
I was given the opportunity to review their 16x20 1.5" canvas product worth $110 and was provided with a coupon code to use on my checkout. They have a user-friendly Website; very easy to navigate and in 5 minutes tadaaa ... , I completed my order. It is unbelievably fast and easy. Bear in mind that as long as you already pick the photo to use for the canvas, following their 3-steps online ordering system is super easy as a snap of your fingers. If you are planning to have your photos on canvas, I can assure you that you will be happy to order it from canvaspress.com.

PRICE is JUST RIGHT
The price of the product varies with the product type you choose such as Canvas, Photo Paper, Aluminum and Wall Paper, and the size as well. There is a reasonable fee if you add Photo Retouch, Text and Artist options so; for my order, I opt out for the enhancement options. Guess what? My husband and I are very pleased with the canvas and was impressed with the craftsmanship of this company. For a quality canvas like this, the price is just right!

SHIPPING and HANDLING:
The product arrived fast which was very impressive. The package was left outside the front door and it was raining so badly. I was so concerned seeing the package all wet. Apparently, when I opened the package, the canvas was perfectly wrapped and secured. Check out the first and second photos above. There are layers of cardboard used to protect the canvas and aside from that, the canvas was perfectly wrapped in clear cellophane. I was so happy and impressed that my canvas was in perfect condition.

MY THOUGHTS ON CANVAS:
Impressive! That word conveys everything about the company and this beautiful canvas that I received. I love my canvas because the photograph turned out great. When I encountered problems regarding my coupon code, their awesome customer service representative promptly responded to my inquiries which is very important you know. I also like the fact that it has a trademark of "Made in the USA". The quality and the craftsmanship of this canvas is beyond perfect. I can't find imperfection to it in fact; I check the back maybe, one staple might be crooked but, it was done right. I am a happy customer and I highly recommend that you should order your canvas prints at canvaspress.com. I hang my canvas where friends can see it the moment they walk inside the house because I am proud of my beautiful photo on canvas.

In Mourning: Sky Watching Lifts Me Up

Every waking moments of my life, I appreciate the air I breathe and the gift of life. Life is too short to be wasted. When hubby and I travel either long trip or just around the neighborhood, I make sure that I glorify God for all His goodness and blessings. I am not as religious as you are but, I know how to thank and praise God (wink). When I am not in my gaily mood, sky watching lifts me up and it's my way of conversing to God.

A while ago, I was browsing of the funeral photos of a neighbor friend back home. It is heartbreaking to see her husband and son mourning then, I started to recall. Ate Lita is our neighbor in fact, our house is next to hers and she is the first neighbor that is like a family to us. We were neighbors for 13 years and she and my mom bonded closely together. When I was at work whole day, she was there for my mom chit-chatting about dreams and life.

When I left to migrate half way around the globe, she remains a good friend to my mom. Ate Lita's company is precious and she was always there for my mom. I was back home in two years and she was there with warm smiles excited that I came home to be with my mom. We talk about the future that one of these days, we all could go to Bohol, in their farm and spend a vacation in the island. On my next visit, I said.

Our health is indeed our wealth. No matter how financially stable we are, if our health will deteriorate then, we are at the mercy of God's ultimate healing. I was thinking about my health because lately, I am sickly. Anyway, I talk to my mom every day and I was aware that Ate Lita was sick for few months now. I thought it was just an ordinary sickness you know; fever and colds. I thought she will be back in her home soon. She died at the age of 54 and all I can remember about her is that she is very healthy. I was surprised to learn that she was gone and I ask why? Why her Lord? She has so many plans. What about her dreams for her son? As I gazed up the sky, it seems that this statement has broken the silence: Who am I to complain about God's plan?

Wherever you are right now Ate Lita, you are now at peace in God's presence. I will truly miss you when I come home soon. To a good friend, rest in peace Ate.

Sky watching lifts me up when I am sad, lonely or heartbroken. The beauty of nature speaks profoundly about God's promise that amidst life's obstacles and pain, there will always be sunny and beautiful skies. Thank you for reading my post everyone. I hope you like the photos above. All of these were taken along the roads heading to Melbourne, Florida. Stay happy and live life to the fullest.

Just Having Fun

When we were waiting for some passengers to board the cruise ship, hubby and I went to the top deck. Some cruise ships started to head their way to their destination.I took some pictures and for fun, I did these:The passengers waved to us and some were cheering for excitement.Miami is an awesome place and the port is full of cruise ships. The long highway near the port is so familiar because it always featured in CSI Miami. From the Norwegian Cruise Ship, the view of Miami is beautiful.I took some pictures and mingle with some passengers. Then, we went to the garden cafe' and had snacks before our ship depart to Bahamas. For real, cruising is fun and I want to do it again. Hubby and I wanted the same cruise line because we love the free style cruising.Anyway, I am just having fun taking these photos and I love sharing it.

It's Truly More Fun in the Philippines

The Department of Tourism in the Philippines has a new slogan campaign: "It's More Fun in the Philippines" showcasing people, places, events, food, animals and culture of the Philippines. After ten days of unveiling, the slogan became controversial regarding the "source of the phrase" but, I will not elaborate on that aspect. I participated because I wanted to show the World that it is truly fun in the Philippines because of Real Friendship. It is more fun the Philippines because of the quality time given by the father to his son. They are making a sand castle.
It is more fun in the Philippines because the sky will brag it's beauty during sunrise and sunset. The picture was taken in Surigao City, Philippines. If you want to display your thoughts as to why: "It's More Fun in the Philippines", please download your personal photos at morefunmaker.com. Make it positive please. We are promoting our beautiful country. It is ironic to see Flooding as the main description with the logo: More Fun in the Philippines." It is not fun at all so; have a sound judgment.

Digi Cam Captions

Oh Yeah! Do not bother me or else... (",)LOL. Well, I seldom drink coffee so, I am okay when I wake up in the morning. Some people are not in good humor especially before breakfast right? Anyway, these are the pictures taken while we were in Alabama visiting a friend. I took the time in taking some pictures using the zoom and the natural light in the room. This house sits on a farmland and have no WiFi connection. Not that they cannot afford to have one but, WiFi is not a necessity in their household. I have a Digi Cam that I seldom use so, I tried to get a sample of its functions.I had nothing to do so; I was exploring the different functions of my digi cam. They have collectible items in the house and I took theses pictures as a subject of my photography. Well, I failed! I am not happy with these pictures. The lighting is so bad as well as the angle. Considering these are the best shots that I have for these things.I am not good in taking indoor photos. I tried to get a picture out of an ordinary camera. Maybe, I was using the wrong function because it does not come out right.
The stuff above is really beautiful and vinatage looking. The detail of the subject is a work of art but, I failed to capture it in this camera. The zoom is not enough. I need a macro zoom.
The last picture was taken so bad. The picture is so blurry. I still have to master how to use this digi cam before I can use a DSLR. The focus just so bad. HMMM.

Silhoutte Photo

I snagged this picture from my friend's album in FB. The person behind this silhoutte photo is Rusty! I love the blue sky and the caption of Rusty's image. Whoever took this picture had that natural keen eye of taking a good angle. This might not be a perfect picture but for me, it is close to perfect. What do you think?

Perfect Morning

I am using my Blackberry Phone lately because it's handy and easy to download in real time to my Facebook and Twitter accounts. It is like few seconds publishing of what I saw and observed around my world. This is one of the pictures that I called awesome since I am using an ordinary gadget and considering I am in mobile, this picture deserved to be called perfect.
My husband was driving and I am taking pictures, which I usually does. Since the sun is starting to come out, I was aiming at the sunshine above the bushes but, to my surprise, I got this. The sun is gleaming between the branch showing a scattered glare at the top and bottom of the tree. Just a normal light in a perfect morning, couldn't ask for more, really:-)
